Dominus regnavit exultabit terra laetabuntur insulae multae
huic David quando terra eius restituta est Dominus regnavit exultet terra laetentur insulae multae
For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad.

nubes et caligo in circuitu eius iustitia et iudicium firmamentum solii eius
nubes et caligo in circuitu eius iustitia et iudicium correctio sedis eius
Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne.

ignis ante faciem eius ibit et exuret per circuitum hostes eius
ignis ante ipsum praecedet et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos eius
A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about.
|

apparuerunt fulgora eius orbi vidit et contremuit terra
adluxerunt fulgora eius orbi terrae vidit et commota est terra
His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled.

montes sicut cera tabefacti sunt a facie Domini a facie dominatoris omnis terrae
montes sicut cera fluxerunt a facie Domini; a facie Domini omnis terrae
The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.

adnuntiaverunt caeli iustitiam eius et viderunt omnes populi gloriam eius
adnuntiaverunt caeli iustitiam eius et viderunt omnes populi gloriam eius
The heavens declared his justice: and all people saw his glory.

confundantur universi qui serviunt sculptili qui gloriantur in idolis adorate eum omnes dii
confundantur omnes qui adorant sculptilia qui gloriantur in simulacris suis adorate eum omnes angeli eius
Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels:

audivit et laetata est Sion et exultaverunt filiae Iudae propter iudicia tua Domine
audivit et laetata est Sion et exultaverunt filiae Iudaeae propter iudicia tua Domine
Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord.

tu enim Dominus Excelsus super omnem terram vehementer elevatus es super universos deos
quoniam tu Dominus Altissimus super omnem terram nimis superexaltatus es super omnes deos
For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.

qui diligitis Dominum odite malum custodit animas sanctorum suorum de manu impiorum eruet eos
qui diligitis Dominum odite malum custodit animas sanctorum suorum de manu peccatoris liberabit eos
You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner.

lux orta est iusto et rectis corde laetitia
lux orta est iusto et rectis corde laetitia
Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart.
|

laetamini iusti in Domino et confitemini memoriae sanctae eius
laetamini iusti in Domino et confitemini memoriae sanctificationis eius
Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness.
