Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.

et statuit ea in saeculum et in saeculum praeceptum dedit et non praeteribit

He hath established them for ever, and for ages of ages: he hath made a decree, and it shall not pass away.

Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy winds, which fulfil his word:

montes et omnes colles lignum fructiferum et universae cedri
montes et omnes colles ligna fructifera et omnes cedri
Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars:

bestiae et omnia iumenta reptilia et aves volantes
bestiae et universa pecora serpentes et volucres pinnatae
Beasts and all cattle: serpents and feathered fowls:

reges terrae et omnes populi principes et universi iudices terrae
reges terrae et omnes populi principes et omnes iudices terrae
Kings of the earth and all people: princes and all judges of the earth:

iuvenes et virgines senes cum pueris laudent nomen Domini
iuvenes et virgines senes cum iunioribus laudent nomen Domini
Young men and maidens: let the old with the younger, praise the name of the Lord:

quoniam sublime nomen eius solius
quia exaltatum est nomen eius solius
For his name alone is exalted.

gloria eius in caelo et in terra et exaltavit cornu populi sui laus omnibus sanctis eius filiis Israhel populo adpropinquanti sibi alleluia
confessio eius super caelum et terram et exaltabit cornu populi sui hymnus omnibus sanctis eius filiis Israhel populo adpropinquanti sibi
The praise of him is above heaven and earth: and he hath exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his saints to the children of Israel, a people approaching to him. Alleluia.
